According to the band's official bio, LAND OF TALES "plays melodic rock and tales are sung in English. The two masterminds behind the band, Kristian and Palle, started making music at the ages of six and seven and have been playing together for fifteen years in a Finnish band called NAISKALA. All the time, there's been constant urge to make more adult-orientated rock music, sung in English. The feedback, especially from abroad, that they got through the MySpace page of the band NAISKALA, drove them to form the band LAND OF TALES. Kristian started writing songs in November 2006, meanwhile Petri Lahtinen and Mika Mäkiranta wrote the lyrics for the tales."

The original demo tape that got LAND OF TALES its recording deal can be heard at www.myspace.com/landoftales.
